Triple Peptide Complex · Chrysin · Oxido-Reductases

Three clinical peptides — Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 — work in sequence to address the three primary signs of eye aging: expression lines, structural loss, and inflammatory discoloration. Chrysin and Oxido-Reductases target dark circles at the source. Hydrolyzed soy and rice proteins support elasticity, while Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera, and Green Tea calm and hydrate the delicate orbital zone. This is a clinical formula in a handcrafted vessel.

The Peptide Strategy

Three peptides.
Three distinct targets.

The eye zone ages through at least three distinct mechanisms — and most eye creams address, at best, one of them. Agedefy was formulated with a layered peptide approach: each of the three peptides in this formula works on a different mechanism, so the formula earns progress on multiple fronts simultaneously.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (Argireline) works at the neuromuscular junction, softening the muscle contractions that create expression lines. Palmitoyl Oligopeptide stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis, rebuilding the structural matrix underneath. Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 modulates inflammation and suppresses excess glycation — the process that stiffens and dulls aging skin. Together, they address lines, structure, and skin quality simultaneously.

The formula then layers Chrysin and Oxido-Reductases on top of that peptide foundation — ingredients specifically chosen for dark circle reduction — rounding out the five-mechanism approach to orbital aging.

The Signature Mechanism
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8
Aka Argireline · INCI: Acetyl Hexapeptide-8
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 is a hexapeptide fragment that interferes with the SNARE complex — the protein assembly responsible for triggering muscle contraction. By moderating the neuromuscular signal, it reduces the intensity of repetitive facial expressions, which are responsible for the expression lines that form around and between the eyes over years of use. The effect is dose-dependent and cumulative; consistent use over weeks produces measurable reduction in line depth at areas of repeated movement. Unlike a procedural neurotoxin, it works topically and gradually, with no systemic risk. The nickname "Argireline" refers to its arginine-derived structure; the INCI name is Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 or -3 depending on numbering convention.
The Structure Ingredient
Chrysin
Flavonoid · INCI: Chrysin
Dark circles caused by vascular origin — the bluish or purplish discoloration from blood pooling under thin orbital skin — respond to Chrysin. The mechanism: Chrysin activates glucuronyltransferase, an enzyme that breaks down biliverdin and bilirubin, the hemosiderin pigments deposited when blood components leak from fragile capillaries. This is why most conventional brighteners make no impact on vascular dark circles — they target melanin, not hemosiderin. Chrysin targets the actual pigment responsible for vascular-origin darkness, making it one of the few topical ingredients with a mechanistically appropriate claim for this type of dark circle.
What Agedefy Addresses

Three visible signs.
One formula.

The eye zone is the most complex region on the face to treat. The skin is the thinnest on the body — approximately 0.5mm, compared to 2mm elsewhere. It has fewer oil glands, less subcutaneous support, and higher mobility than any other facial area. Most formulas designed for the eye zone either under-deliver on actives out of caution, or over-deliver on irritants in pursuit of results. Agedefy threads that needle.

01
Expression Lines
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 moderates the muscle contractions responsible for crow's feet and under-eye creasing. Reduction is gradual and cumulative — consistent use produces visible softening over 4–8 weeks.
02
Dark Circles
Chrysin targets vascular-origin dark circles by breaking down hemosiderin pigment. Oxido-Reductases support enzymatic clarification of the orbital zone. Together they address both pigment types.
03
Puffiness & Loss of Firmness
Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 suppresses inflammatory signaling that drives puffiness and glycation. Palmitoyl Oligopeptide stimulates the collagen and elastin production that restores structural support and tightness.
Why the Eye Zone is Different

Delicate skin
demands specificity.

The periorbital skin is so thin that ingredients tolerated elsewhere on the face can cause irritation, swelling, or milia when applied around the eyes. This isn't a reason to avoid actives in the eye zone — it's a reason to choose them with more precision. Every ingredient in Agedefy was evaluated for orbital safety.

The emollient base uses Safflower and Hazelnut seed oils — lightweight, non-comedogenic, and rich in essential fatty acids that support barrier function without heaviness. Dimethicone provides slip and occlusion without pore-clogging. The humectant stack — Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid, Sorbitol — pulls and retains water throughout the day.

Application Protocol
Use a grain-of-rice amount per eye. Dot gently around the orbital bone using your ring finger — the weakest finger, to avoid pulling on delicate skin. Work from the outer corner inward along the lower lid, then from the inner corner upward along the brow bone. Do not apply directly on the lash line or waterline. AM and PM. Results visible at 4–6 weeks with consistent use.

Six clinical actives.
Each with a defined role.

Expression Lines
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8
Aka Argireline
A hexapeptide that inhibits the SNARE complex, moderating the neuromuscular contractions responsible for expression lines. Used consistently, it visibly softens crow's feet and under-eye creasing over 4–8 weeks. The gold-standard topical peptide for expression-line reduction.
Collagen Stimulation
Palmitoyl Oligopeptide
Signal Peptide · Matrikine
A palmitoylated signal peptide (matrikine) that communicates with fibroblasts to upregulate collagen and elastin synthesis. The palmitoyl chain improves skin penetration; once inside the dermis, it triggers the skin's own production machinery to restore structural support beneath the eye zone.
Inflammation & Glycation
Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7
Anti-Inflammatory Peptide
Works synergistically with Palmitoyl Oligopeptide. Tetrapeptide-7 suppresses excess interleukin-6 production, reducing chronic low-level inflammation that drives puffiness and skin aging. It also inhibits glycation — the cross-linking of proteins that makes aging skin stiff and dull — improving overall skin quality over time.
Enzymatic Clarification
Oxido-Reductases
Oxidoreductase Enzyme Blend
A class of enzymes that catalyze oxidation-reduction reactions in the skin, supporting melanin breakdown and reducing pigment accumulation. In the context of dark circles, Oxido-Reductases work alongside Chrysin to address both the hemosiderin and melanin components of periorbital discoloration. Enzymatic activity means the action is catalytic and ongoing.
Dark Circle Reduction
Chrysin
Natural Flavonoid
A flavonoid extracted from passionflower and honey. Chrysin activates glucuronyltransferase, the enzyme responsible for metabolizing biliverdin and bilirubin — the hemosiderin pigments deposited when hemoglobin breaks down beneath the eye. Unlike brighteners that target melanin, Chrysin specifically addresses vascular-origin dark circles, making it mechanistically appropriate where other lighteners fall short.
Deep Hydration
Hyaluronic Acid
Sodium Hyaluronate
A humectant glycosaminoglycan capable of binding up to 1,000 times its weight in water. In the orbital zone — where thin skin shows dehydration as fine lines and hollowness most acutely — Hyaluronic Acid provides critical plumping and cushioning. Pairs with Aloe Vera Leaf Extract and Glycerin to form a three-humectant moisture matrix that maintains hydration for hours after application.

Every ingredient,
with a reason for being here.

Water Phase
Deionized Water
The purified water base. Deionized water removes mineral ions that could interfere with active ingredient stability or irritate sensitive orbital skin. Carrier for all water-soluble actives.
Emollient Oil
Safflower Seed Oil
High in linoleic acid (omega-6), which supports the skin's lipid barrier. Lightweight and non-comedogenic — appropriate for the thin, oil-sparse skin of the orbital zone. Helps maintain barrier integrity without heaviness.
Luxury Emollient
Hazelnut Seed Oil
Absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. Rich in oleic acid and naturally astringent — one of the few oils that helps tighten and tone as it moisturizes. Ideal for the eye zone where slip without weight is essential.
Emulsifier
Stearic Acid & Glyceryl Stearate
The emulsifier pair that binds water and oil into a stable cream. Stearic Acid also has mild skin-softening properties. Together they give Agedefy its smooth, elegant texture without requiring harsh surfactants.
Humectant
Glycerin
A foundational humectant that draws water from the dermis and atmosphere into the stratum corneum. Pairs with Hyaluronic Acid and Sorbitol to form the three-humectant moisture matrix that keeps the orbital skin plump and supple throughout the day.
Emollient
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride
A lightweight ester derived from coconut oil. Provides silky slip and emollient cushioning without heaviness. Improves the spreadability of the formula and helps active ingredients penetrate the stratum corneum more effectively.
Humectant
Sorbitol
A sugar-alcohol humectant with a pleasant, slightly dewy skin feel. Works alongside Glycerin and HA to maintain moisture levels. Also provides mild textural improvement and contributes to formula stability.
Key Active
Chrysin
Flavonoid that activates the enzyme responsible for breaking down hemosiderin pigments under the eye. Primary ingredient for vascular-origin dark circles. Works enzymatically and does not bleach — it metabolizes the specific pigment responsible for vascular darkness.
Key Active
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8
The expression-line peptide. Moderates neuromuscular contractions at the SNARE complex, visibly softening crow's feet and under-eye creasing with consistent use. Clinical peptide with documented efficacy in independent trials.
Key Active
Palmitoyl Oligopeptide
Signal peptide that stimulates fibroblast production of collagen and elastin. The palmitoyl chain improves epidermal penetration. Rebuilds the structural matrix that provides firmness and resilience to the eye area.
Key Active
Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7
Anti-inflammatory tetrapeptide that suppresses IL-6 production and inhibits glycation. Partners with Palmitoyl Oligopeptide for comprehensive structural and inflammatory support. Reduces puffiness and improves overall skin quality in the orbital zone.
Enzyme Complex
Oxido-Reductases
Oxidoreductase enzyme blend that catalyzes melanin breakdown and pigment reduction. Supports the dark-circle action of Chrysin by addressing the melanin component of periorbital discoloration alongside Chrysin's hemosiderin action.
Protein Matrix
Hydrolyzed Soy & Rice Proteins
Film-forming proteins that create a tightening, elasticizing layer on the skin surface. Hydrolyzed to small molecular weights for improved penetration. Support the peptide actives in addressing laxity and loss of firmness around the eye.
Antioxidant
Tocopherol Acetate (Vit. E)
A stable form of Vitamin E. Lipid-soluble antioxidant that protects the formula and the skin's lipid membrane from oxidative damage. Supports the longevity of the peptide actives and provides mild anti-inflammatory benefit in the orbital zone.
Botanical Extract
Green Tea Leaf Extract
A concentrated source of EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate), one of the most potent natural antioxidants. Reduces UV-induced oxidative stress in the periorbital region, calms irritation, and contributes to pigmentation management through its polyphenol content.
Soothing Botanical
Chamomile Flower Extract
Rich in bisabolol and apigenin — two compounds with well-documented anti-inflammatory and calming properties. Particularly valuable in the eye zone, where skin reactivity is highest. Reduces redness, puffiness, and sensitivity around the orbital area.
Humectant
Hyaluronic Acid
Holds up to 1,000× its weight in water. Provides immediate plumping and cushioning in the thin orbital skin. Works with Glycerin and Sorbitol to maintain sustained hydration, preventing the fine lines that dehydration exaggerates in this zone.
Soothing Humectant
Aloe Vera Leaf Extract
A natural mucilage rich in polysaccharides, vitamins, and minerals. Provides both humectancy and soothing action. Calms reactive orbital skin and creates a cooling, protective layer on the surface. One of the most tolerated ingredients in the eye zone.
Silicone · Slip Agent
Dimethicone
A lightweight silicone that provides a silky, smooth application and mild occlusion without blocking pores. Helps the formula glide onto the orbital area without dragging on delicate skin, and forms a protective layer that reduces transepidermal water loss.
Stabilizer
Carbomer & Triethanolamine
Carbomer is a cross-linked polyacrylic acid that provides stable thickening and emulsification. Triethanolamine neutralizes the Carbomer to the correct pH, ensuring formula stability and optimal skin-pH compatibility for active ingredient delivery.
Preservation System
Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol
A multi-component preservation system that protects against bacterial and fungal contamination without relying on parabens. Each component contributes a different mode of action; together they provide broad-spectrum protection at low individual concentrations, minimizing irritation risk in the sensitive orbital zone.
Antimicrobial
Chlorhexidine Digluconate & Potassium Sorbate
Additional preservation support. Chlorhexidine Digluconate provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial action. Potassium Sorbate, derived from sorbic acid, offers yeast and mold inhibition. Both are used at low concentrations within safety thresholds for eye-area application.

Clinical actives.
Tangible results.

Softened Expression Lines
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 moderates the repetitive contractions that create crow's feet and under-eye creasing. Visible reduction begins at 4 weeks; meaningful softening at 8–12 weeks of consistent AM and PM use.
Reduced Dark Circles
Chrysin and Oxido-Reductases address vascular and melanin-origin dark circles through enzyme-driven mechanisms. Results are gradual and depend on the origin of the discoloration — vascular-origin circles respond most clearly to this formula.
Improved Firmness
The Palmitoyl Oligopeptide / Tetrapeptide-7 duo stimulates collagen and elastin production while suppressing the inflammatory signals that degrade existing structure. The eye zone gradually regains support and resilience over 6–12 weeks.
Calm, Hydrated Skin
Chamomile, Aloe Vera, and Hyaluronic Acid work in tandem to soothe reactive orbital skin, maintain plump hydration, and reduce the puffiness that inflammation and dehydration cause. The eye zone feels calmer from the first application.
Antioxidant Defense
Vitamin E, Green Tea EGCG, and Chamomile polyphenols provide layered antioxidant protection in the orbital zone. Shields the thin periorbital skin from UV-induced oxidative damage that accelerates aging and deepens pigmentation.
Protein-Supported Elasticity
Hydrolyzed Soy and Rice Proteins form a tightening film on the skin surface that complements the deeper structural work of the peptides. A visible, immediate lifting sensation supports the longer-term collagen rebuilding happening beneath the surface.

The ring finger
method.

Cleanse First
Apply Agedefy to clean, dry skin after your cleansing and toning steps, before serums and moisturizer. A clean surface allows the peptides to reach the skin without barrier interference from other products.
Grain-of-Rice Amount
Dispense a grain-of-rice amount onto your ring finger. This is sufficient for both eyes. The formula is concentrated — using more will not increase efficacy and may cause temporary puffiness from product weight.
Ring Finger Application
Use your ring finger — the weakest finger on the hand — to apply. Dot gently around the orbital bone: along the lower lid from outer to inner corner, then along the brow bone from inner to outer corner. Never drag or pull.
AM & PM, Every Day
Consistency is the difference between results and no results with clinical peptides. Apply morning and evening. At 4 weeks, evaluate the expression-line response. At 8–12 weeks, assess structural and dark-circle improvement. Do not skip days in the first 8 weeks.
Layering Protocol
Step order matters. Apply Agedefy directly after toner — before vitamin C serums, retinoids, or facial oils — to ensure the peptides reach the dermis without being blocked by heavier molecules. If using a retinoid in the same routine, apply Agedefy first and wait 60 seconds before applying the retinoid to adjacent facial skin. Avoid applying retinoids directly on the eye zone itself.

Pairs well with.

Strawberry & Cream Toner
Apply before Agedefy. The toner's hyaluronic acid and niacinamide prepare a hydrated, balanced surface that improves peptide absorption in the delicate eye zone. In-house organic strawberry hydrosol base.
Grapefruit Grove Botanical Wash
The cleanser that begins the routine. A gentle wash that removes impurities and prepares the skin surface — including the orbital zone — for active ingredient absorption. Step one before toner and eye cream.
Berry Barrier Cream Moisturizer
Apply after Agedefy as the final step in your morning and evening routine. The Berry Barrier seals the peptide actives in place with a nourishing cream layer and continues the antioxidant and hydration work started at the eye zone.
